In a video recorded on Oct. 14 by Jamie Litzel, the man is seen pinning the antelope’s horns with his feet while another man cuts the wire fence. Once freed, the animal’s horns pierce through the shoe of the man holding it down, toppling him over.
Litzel said the antelope still had the shoe stuck in its horn the next day after spotting the animal on her family’s ranch.
"The animal was seen the next morning while we gathered cattle with the shoe still on the horn," she said. "We went out after the cattle work was done but were unable to find the animal."
