Tornado captured on video twisting through New Hampshire town
The video taken in Charlestown shows downed trees and traffic coming to a standstill farther down the road
CHARLESTOWN, N.H. – Dashcam footage shows a tornado moving through Charleston, New Hampshire Monday evening.
The National Weather Service confirmed the EF-1 tornado Tuesday, estimating it traveled 4.8 miles through Sullivan County and had maximum winds of 90 mph.
The video taken in Charlestown shows downed trees and traffic coming to a standstill farther down the road. A person driving through the storm around 6:20 p.m. Monday pulled over to capture the shot.

The Northeast and mid-Atlantic states were hit by numerous severe storms on Monday, with dozens of reports of wind damage that were tallied from New England to the Carolinas.
A couple of tornadoes were also reported in Colorado, Nebraska and North Carolina.
