A FOX Weather Premium subscription includes an ad-free experience within the app (i.e., no display ads) and no pre-roll advertisements for video clips.
However, advertisements for the live stream will still contain ads, just like they would on live TV.
What types of weather subscriptions are available?
We offer two subscription plans, a monthly plan and a yearly plan.
How do I manage my subscription?
For Apple: Go to App Store > tap the initials on the top-right > "Subscriptions" and select Fox Weather.
For Android: Go to your "Payments and Subscriptions" in the Playstore and select FOX Weather.
How do I request a refund?
Please contact your app store customer care where you purchased your subscription to request a refund.
How do I cancel my subscription?
For Apple: Go to App Store > tap the initials on the top-right > "Subscriptions." Then select Fox Weather. The cancel button will then appear.
For Android: Go to your "Payments and Subscriptions" in the Playstore, select the app and then "Cancel Subscription." Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Are there any discounts for subscriptions?
We offer big savings with our annual subscription.
How secure is my personal information?
We have strict security measures to protect your personal information and never share it with third parties.
Can I access historical weather data with my subscription?
Our premium subscription gives you access to years of historical weather data, which helps with planning and research.
What makes your weather service unique?
The FOX Weather app allows users to watch live FOX Weather TV and to create custom events to help with future planning.
Is the weather data compatible with smart home devices?
No. The smart home devices use native Apple or Google/Android weather data.
How many locations can you save?
You can save up to 10 locations plus your current location.
How do I favorite a location?
On both Android and Apple devices, search for a location, then select the (+Add) button on the top-right once the weather data appears. That location will then be accessible as a saved location unless it is manually deleted.
What areas do you provide weather forecasts for?
Forecast data is available globally. Radar data only available for North America and the Caribbean.
Will I get weather warnings for severe conditions?
Yes, severe weather warnings are included as part of our service to help you stay safe and prepared.
How can I receive weather alerts?
Weather alerts are delivered via push notifications to your device. You can customize alerts in App Settings.
Can I customize my weather reports?
No, forecasts are delivered for specific locations, but no customization of reports are available yet.
What kind of weather metrics do you track?
We track temperature, precipitation, humidity, cloud cover, dew point, wind, barometric pressure, air quality, UV index, sunrise and sunset.
Do you provide weather forecasts for marine areas?
We do not provide marine-specific forecasts. We have weather data for coastal areas, but we do not have data for tides, rip currents, sea conditions, etc. Some of these are planned in future enhancements.
Do you offer customer support?
Yes, the customer support team is available 24/7 to help you with any questions or issues you may have.
Will FOX Weather Premium be available on the web?
FOX Weather Premium is only offered on the FOX Weather mobile apps at the moment.
Will I be able to log in into multiple devices after I subscribe?
Yes. As long as the Google email or Apple ID is the same on the devices, you should be able to have premium experience across multiple devices, so long as you are using the same operating system (iOS or Android).
Subscriptions will not be honored across operating systems since the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) are handling the payments.
