The combination of heavy snow in Colorado and storms across the eastern third of the country is causing issues with electricity. Thousands of outages are being reported across several states in the Midwest after seeing damaging winds over the last few hours.
Ohio and Indiana have seen the worst storms of the afternoon, so far. Winds gusted to at least 65 mph and large hail was also reported.
