Snow started falling on Monday across the Lone Star State because it wasn’t until Tuesday that records across the Gulf Coast were smashed. Florida’s greatest snowfall of all-time was 4" reported outside of Pensacola but the accumulations were quickly eclipsed by what was expected to be more than half a foot of frozen precipitation A Blizzard Warning was issued for the first time around Lake Charles, Louisiana due to visibilities and blowing snow.
