Steve Bender
FOX Weather Meteorologist
Steve Bender joined FOX Weather as a Miami-based field correspondent in 2021. Most recently, he traveled to Glasgow, Scotland where he reported on the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26. Prior to joining the streaming service, Bender served three years as the morning meteorologist at KRNV-TV (NBC/Sinclair) in Reno, Nevada. From 2014-2018, he was the morning news anchor for KTAL-TV (NBC/Nexstar) in Shreveport, Louisiana where he covered severe weather patterns hitting the Gulf Coast. He previously worked for WABG-TV (ABC-FOX/Cox) in Greenville, Mississippi as an anchor and evening meteorologist. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Bender went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
