Brandon Copic joined FOX Weather as an Exclusive Storm Tracker in 2023.
Previously, Copic was an extreme weather freelance videographer where he serviced reports across local and national outlets, including The Weather Channel. With more than a decade of experience tracking storms, he has covered several major weather events, including tornadoes in Greenfield, Iowa, Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Lincoln and Elkhorn, Nebraska, as well as the Keota, Iowa twin tornadoes, and most notably the El Reno tornado in 2013. He has also reported on Hurricanes Helene, Ian, Milton, and Idalia, among others. Throughout his career in the field, he has covered hundreds of thousands of miles tracking storms, many of which were live streamed to his YouTube channel.
Prior to his career in extreme weather, Copic went to school for criminal justice, and worked a career as an LTL truck driver, fill-in supervisor, and forklift operator at XPO Logistics (formerly Con-way Freight).
