Watch: New Orleans begins to thaw as temperatures rise above freezing

New Orleans is starting to thaw out Friday as frigid temperatures climb above freezing. However, many roads remain severely impacted by lingering snow and ice. Any melting during the day will likely refreeze overnight as temperatures plummet back below freezing, leading to hazardous road conditions.
