Conditions ripe for fire outbreak in Central U.S.
An extreme fire weather threat for the southern Plains today including parts of New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Strong winds of 60-90 mph combined with relative humidity values dropping into the single digits will create the perfect firestorm of high-end critical conditions. Any fires that do form will be large, fast-moving, and uncontrollable.
