International Medical Corps deploys mobile medical unit to Port Charlotte, Florida
After Hurricane Ian's destructive path, many hospitals were unable to function. But with support from the Florida Department of Health, the International Medical Corps was able to deploy a mobile medical unit to Port Charlotte, These MMU’s are fully staffed with volunteer doctors, nurses and emergency response members. The unit can provide outpatient service to up to 100 patients a day. International Medical Corps is team lead Susan Mangicaro joins FOX Weather.
