Coast-to-coast storm could spawn major winter storm in northern Plains, Upper Midwest

Once the coast-to-coast storm exits the West, it will slide into the central U.S. and likely become a major winter storm with heavy snow and high winds in northern Plains and Upper Midwest beginning late Monday or early Tuesday. These significant impacts may linger over parts of those regions into at least the middle of the week.
