Winter storm to bring snow, ice to the Northeast

The bookend to a very active week coast-to-coast will be a new area of low pressure spreading wintry weather and rain from the Central Appalachians and mid-Atlantic to New England. The biggest impacts will be freezing rain/ice from Virginia to Pennsylvania and snow for interior portions of the Northeast and New England.
