Areas of New England could see feet of snow Saturday

Heavy snow continues across northern New England through Saturday before the storm system gradually pulls away from the Northeast on Sunday. Lingering snow showers will remain possible over the interior Northeast through Sunday. Snow amounts will be highly dependent on elevation, ranging from 5 inches in the valleys to 24 inches or more in the Adirondacks and Green mountains.
