Colorado mountains at risk for avalanches
Recent snowfall across Colorado has been plentiful, with snowpack numbers well above normal in some areas. The Yampa and White River Basin in northwest Colorado, home to Steamboat Ski Resort, is looking great this season, with snowpack nearly 50% above normal for this first week of the new year. It's not all fun and games up in the mountains, as avalanches continue to be a concern across the Rockies. FOX Weather’s Max Gorden has more from Copper Mountain, Colorado.
