Historical storm impacting Southern California: NWS San Diego

NWS San Diego Meteorologist Alex Tardy told FOX Weather the winter storm slamming California occurs only every 10-20 years. The San Bernardino mountains have already received feet of snow with the heaviest bands moving in. Tardy noted strong winds will become a factor with an incoming atmospheric river.
