Sanibel Island's tourism strugglers amid Hurricane Ian recovery
In the midst of darkness after Hurricane Ian, there is now new light in Florida. Sanibel Island's Lighthouse was re-lit after months of repairs. It has been out of commission since Ian hit five months ago. Floridians came out for the celebration, calling it a symbol of hope for the island. Sanibel reopened to the public in January, but tourism has been a slow recovery. Sanibel Mayor Holly Smith joins FOX Weather.
