Severe storm threat for South Thursday with cross-country storm

On the warm side of the cross-country system, severe storms will threaten parts of the southern U.S. on Thursday. Rain may result in flash flooding. On the cold side of the storm, heavy snow is likely to blanket parts of Rockies, Plains and Upper Midwest.
