Summer-like heatwave could break more records across Great Lakes, Northeast
Thursday was a record setting day across nearly all of the Eastern U.S., with over 40 records broken. In fact, some locations saw their hottest April day in years across parts of the Northeast, including New York City. Friday, highs will once again soar to record levels, as nearly a dozen records could fall on Friday. Most of these records will be located in the Great Lakes and Northeast.
