Fort Lauderdale Mayor recounts historic flooding: Many were stranded in streets, homes

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis said most of the rainwater has now drained one week after the historic floods. Trantalis noted that residents were stranded in the streets and in their homes after 26 inches of rain fell on the city in less than 5 hours.
