May snowstorm dumping heavy snow across Upper Peninsula of Michigan
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan could see a rare and potentially record-breaking May snow event throughout Monday. Snow totals could rival the May 9-10 Winter Storm of 1990 where Marquette picked up nearly 2 feet of snow. Marquette is not expected to see similar snow totals, but other areas across the U.P. could deal with extreme impacts. It is possible some areas see 18-24 inches of snow.
