As the Omega block pattern begins to break down Thursday, a trough swinging out of the Rockies into the Southern Plains brings the potential for more typical spring-like severe weather across portions of Oklahoma and Texas. Supercells with large hail, strong wind gusts, and a few tornadoes will be possible Thursday afternoon and evening.
