Highest risk of storms in Southern Plains Thursday before threat decreases

A severe storm threat will increase across the Southern Plains on Thursday. Supercells with large hail, strong wind gusts, and a few tornadoes will be possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Friday there will be a relatively decreased threat for strong storms across some of these same areas.
