Deadly New York flooding called 1-in-1,000-year event

The deadly and historic flooding that hit the lower Hudson Valley in New York state on Sunday has been called a 1-in-1,000-year event with many people saying flooding of this magnitude in Highland Falls hasn’t been seen since Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
