Season's first winter storm to drop up to 1 foot of snow across Northwest mountains

A potent storm is forecast to dive south out of Alberta late Tuesday, dragging down some of the coldest air the region has felt so far this season. And with ample moisture in place, the colder temperatures will mean widespread snow, even at lower elevations.
