Quaker Run Fire consumes more than 2,800 acres in Virginia

The Quaker Run Fire continues to burn within Shenandoah National Park after consuming more than 2,800 acres of federal, private and state lands. The fire, like many across the mid-Atlantic and Southeast, is being fueled by drought conditions.
