Winter warmup threatens record highs across central US

The first week of December certainly isn't feeling like it across the central part of the country as unusually warm air surges north. Thanks to a persistent dip in the jet stream across the Northwest, a ridge in the jet stream has setup over the central U.S., pushing temperatures upward, the FOX Forecast Center said.
