3 people rescued after falling through frozen South Dakota dam
Just a few days before Christmas, the Mission South Dakota Fire and Rescue team rescued an adult and two kids who had fallen through an open body of partially frozen water. They needed assistance to get back to the shore. Fortunately, everyone was safe. However, such incidents are not uncommon during winter. Many people step out onto the frozen ice without knowing how thick it is underneath. Assistant Fire Chief Keith Lavery and Fire Chief Joe Moore were at the scene and join FOX Weather to share more details about the rescue.
