Daytona 500 on Sunday in jeopardy due to rain chances
If rain begins before the Daytona 500 begins, race officials would make a determination to delay the start of the race until the track can be dried. If rain begins while the race is in progress, track officials will pause the race and delay until they can properly dry the track. Should the rain last too long into Sunday, race officials could determine to postpone the race until Monday if conditions improve.
