Soaring temperatures to shatter hundreds of records from Southwest to Northeast

After a brief break behind a cold front, which is currently moving across the Eastern Seaboard, the warm weather will return in a big way starting this weekend. By next week, a large portion of the country will experience temperatures that are 20 to 35 degrees higher than the average.
