Crippling blizzard conditions continue as California mountains get buried in feet of snow

A powerful storm continues to blast the West after dumping feet of heavy mountain snow and bringing blizzard conditions as well as destructive wind gusts up to 190 mph. The storm is expected to continue through Sunday before starting to wind down as we enter the new workweek.
