A major interstate in Colorado has already been shut down west of Denver as the biggest snowstorm since 2021 begins its assault on the Front Range of the Rockies. The winter storm could dump a foot or more of snow in the Denver metro area while several feet of snow likely pile up in the mountains west of the city.
