Severe storms target Plains through this weekend

Scattered severe storms, including a few supercells, are forecasted to form across the central and southern High Plains region, including parts of the Big Bend of Texas, Saturday afternoon. This activity is anticipated to develop into organized clusters as it moves into the adjacent Great Plains later in the evening. Severe wind, hail, and possibly a couple of brief tornadoes are the anticipated risks.
