Floridians can prepare for hurricane season this weekend during state's sales tax holiday
Saturday marks the first official day of the Atlantic hurricane season, as well as the first Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday. The Florida Division of Emergency Management is encouraging people to purchase emergency preparedness supply items during this sales tax holiday. They hope this will help save more lives and reduce the amount of damage left behind. Kevin Gutherie, the director of Florida's Division of Emergency Management, joins FOX Weather with more.
