NOAA's GOES-U weather satellite set to launch on Tuesday

NOAA Administrator Dr. Rick Spinrad explains the GOES-U satellite will ensure the U.S. will have the tools needed to provide weather alerts for severe thunderstorms, fires and hurricanes. The new satellite will also help with space weather forecasts for solar storms.
