North Carolina sheriff's office take students home from school after historic rains

New Hanover County Sheriff's Office deputies helped students get home from school on Tuesday after historic rainfall amounts prevented school buses from getting to the school district. New Hanover Sheriff's Office Maj. Chris Smith said high-water vehicles were used to get children home. The "enjoyed the ride" with a special story to tell.
