Caribbean disturbance could develop into tropical depression this week

Confidence continues to increase that at least one more tropical storm or hurricane could form during the last month of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. Forecasters with the National Hurricane Center have highlighted an area in the Caribbean Sea that has a medium chance of developing over the next seven days.
