The ongoing lake-effect snow event is in its final stages as heavy lake-effect snow continues east of Lake Erie through Friday morning and east of Lake Ontario through the afternoon. The lake-effect snow will come to an end Friday night. Lake-effect snow has largely ended across Michigan.
