A developing storm system is expected to bring a band of heavy snow from the Dakotas through Minnesota and Wisconsin on Thursday. Forecasted amounts of 5-8” of precipitation means that for many communities north of Interstate 94, the occasion could be their heaviest snowfall event of the season so far.
