Snow, rain could lead to some bumpy post-Thanksgiving travel
If you waited until the last minute to travel for Thanksgiving – you’re in luck. There aren’t many issues Thursday that could lead to delays on the road or in the sky. However, some storm systems could lead to issues when it comes to post-Thanksgiving travel this weekend.
The FOX Forecast Center is tracking a storm system sweeping into the Rockies that will provide accumulating snow and a blast of cold air as Americans return home after Thanksgiving. But in the meantime, most of the U.S. will enjoy relatively quiet weather for the holiday itself.
AAA estimates that more than 50 million Americans will either travel by plane or car from their home this week. According to the travel experts, it’s the third-highest forecast since 2000.
