Thanksgiving forecast map tracker: What to expect for the holiday

The FOX Forecast Center is tracking a storm system sweeping into the Rockies that will provide accumulating snow and a blast of cold air as Americans return home after Thanksgiving. But in the meantime, most of the U.S. will enjoy relatively quiet weather for the holiday itself.

AAA estimates that more than 50 million Americans will either travel by plane or car from their home this week. According to the travel experts, it’s the third-highest forecast since 2000.
