ELGIN, Texas -- A drone captured a birds-eye view of a tornado as it spun across Elgin, Texas during the state's severe weather outbreak Monday evening.
The video, shot by storm chaser Brian Emfinger of Live Storms Media, shows mobile homes and roofs being torn apart by the tornado.
Emfinger says he witnessed one person being taken by an ambulance after their mobile home was destroyed.

Another storm chaser, Andrew Messersmith, also captured video of the tornado.
"This is an incredible experience to see in person," Messersmith said. "We were just southwest of Elgin when we saw the funnel touch down and cross the road a few minutes ahead of us and into the town of Elgin -- unfortunately we did see some damage in there."
Messersmith said he saw some houses with siding taken off.
"There was some barbed wire and debris in the road, power lines were down, and trees were down," he said. "I have never seen anything like this."
The nearby town of Round Rock sustained damage from a tornado, but luckily there were no reports of anyone killed and injuries were minor.
The tornadoes were parts of dozens of warned supercells across Texas along and east of I-35. The storm threat was moving east into Louisiana and Mississippi on Tuesday.
