A massive pile-up on PA 581 near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is impacting traffic in Cumberland County. There are no reported life-threatening injuries and busses are reported to be on their way to pick up stranded motorists. The area saw snow overnight and into the morning.
Florida Emergency Management believes a tornado moved through parts of Marion County during the early morning hours, damaging trees, cars and homes. So far, the National Weather Service has not said how strong their meteorologists believe any of the tornadoes were.
Winter storm causing major delays and cancellations Saturday
According to FlightAware.com, there were more than 1,100 cancellations as of 1 p.m. ET Saturday. The site said that there were nearly 3,900 flight delays as well.

260,000 power outages reported as winter storm shifts east

From Pennsylvania to Florida, more than 260,000 power outages have been reported. According to poweroutage.us, Georgia has the highest total at 69,000 outages.
Snow falls Saturday at the White House in Washington, DC, during a late winter storm. Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories have been posted across the East Coast as a rapidly intensifying storm system with snow, strong winds, heavy rain and severe thunderstorms moves through the area. At least 22 states are expected to see snow from the 'bomb cyclone.'

The path is near Lake George across the Wetland/Water Management District across Highway 17 eastward along the Jacksonville International Airport.

Tornado Warning issued for western Hernando County, Florida

A Tornado Warning has been issued for western Hernando County in west-central Florida, including Spring Hill, Brooksville and Hernando Beach until 8:30 a.m. Eastern.
A Tornado Watch is in effect for Florida and Georgia until 11 a.m. Eastern time Saturday as supercell thunderstorms capable of spawning tornadoes develop in parts of the Southeast as well as flooding risks.

Severe thunderstorms, including the threat of tornadoes, and heavy rain capable of flash flooding will batter the Southeast through Saturday.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of southern Alabama, Georgia and the northern half of Florida for the threat of isolated tornadoes in convection moving ashore from the Gulf of Mexico.
Another round of intense rain and storms will rolling across the central Gulf Coast to the Carolinas on Saturday. Widespread damaging winds are likely, and a greater tornado risk will exist maximized across the Florida Panhandle and southern Georgia.
