Fort Myers beachgoers ran for safety on Saturday as a waterspout moved onshore in Florida.
FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – Severe storms moved through Florida on Saturday morning, causing damage to areas across the state.
Just after noon in Fort Myers, beachgoers were in for a surprise as they watched as a waterspout form.
"It looks like Satan is about to pop out of these [. . .] clouds," Melissa Moore said while filming the weather on the beach.
Moments later, the waterspout moved onshore, flipping chairs and sending people running.
