FOX Weather multimedia journalist Mitti Hicks is in New Orleans to give us a preview of the Mardi Gras celebrations this week.
NEW ORLEANS - Final preparations are underway in New Orleans as the city prepares for Mardi Gras on Tuesday.
Showers may have rained on a few parades Sunday morning, but that didn't stop them from celebrating.
Dry weather is expected Monday, with highs in the low 60s.
As for the start of Mardi Gras, the weather should not be a problem for parades or parties as temperatures look to be a bit cooler than average.
