Southeast bracing for showers for the morning drive
No severe weather is expected
A line of showers is pushing across the southeast Monday. That means it could be a slow morning commute in places like Montgomery, Alabama, Atlanta and Charlotte, North Carolina for those working and heading to school at the start of the busy Thanksgiving travel week.
There won't be any large rain amounts, though, as most areas will only pick up between a half-inch and 1 inch of rain by the time the system moves off the Southeastern coast Monday evening. However, some locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier showers set up.
